Cheminformatics Management and Support

A Manager, Cheminformatics and Support is sought for a client's European application science group.  The successful candidate will have the following characteristics:

bullet At least three years of management experience
bullet Computational chemistry or cheminformatics background (Ph.D. preferred)
bullet Scientific software support experience
bullet Ability to get things done quickly, successfully, and with the big picture in mind
bullet Capable of taking on many different responsibilities with equal proficiency
bullet Troubleshooting skills
bullet Willing to travel extensively

The manager of customer support will be responsible for the following:

bullet Manage a group of application support scientists, reporting to the director of support
bullet Supervise and take part in the handling of incoming customer support requests
bullet Manage internal and external software development projects
bullet Coordination and scheduling of customer visits and training for the group 
bullet Liaise with the European sales team
bullet Pro-actively interact with customers to ensure their success with our products
